I live on ten acres where there are lots of trees and it seems like the neighbors are always cutting trees to clear property.
I do woodworking of all kinds, scrolling and cabinet work and am always in need of lumber and most of all I really hate to see good wood being burned.
So I fulfilled a longtime dream to have my own sawmill and do I love it. I cut up a pretty good sized cedar log in just a few hours and got some pretty nice posts plus several pieces of lumber that I plan on using for the construction of a new deck. Plus some of the stuff I cut off the sides turned out where they might make pretty nice rustic table tops after a coat of that plastic stuff is applied and I figure out how to put some legs on it.
I love cutting that lumber. Its not work to me at all.
