These apartments were built for the 1967 Expo. The idea was to build them off-site and stack them on the site. It turned out to be too expensive building with that technique. A modified version is very popular in Israel.

We took a modified "duck" while in Toronto. The tour starts
on the docks and cruises part of the city and then continues in the water.
This building was made from stone used as ballast in ships from Scotland.
