The CN tower has a glass floor. This was a lot of fun. There was another
couple there who were white as sheets as they crossed the glass. They asked
me to take a photo of them on the glass (as they held each other in terror).
Oh but I had fun with them.
"Sure!" "Come on over!" "OK, now look down."
"This isn't funny."
"Sure it is! Now, everyone jump!" I began to jump up and down on the glass
panels at this point.
"No! Please! Don't!"
I found it to be great cruel fun.
I then took their picture and they thanked my multiple times. Glenda and I
next ventured outside to see the view from all sides ( albeit through 360 degrees
of chicken wire).
Not a minute passed before the same couple showed up and asked me to again take their
picture but this time on the outside. I reminded them that there was a two picture maximum before
the minimum charges kicked in.
We moved on and Glenda noted a couple further up who she thought were bound to
ask me to take their photo as well. As we walked closer, they asked me to take their photo.
I may have found a new vocation. Tourist photo patsy.
Do I look like a photo patsy?
Apparently so. Glenda was quite good on the trip at spotting the people who were
going to ask that I play the role of Matt Brady.
Glenda: "Why don't you offer to take
that couple's photo and save us all the time?".
"Nah. I'd rather look at the flowers."
"Scuzee. Kan You Takee Foto"
(Grumble) Sure.
"And get the fountain in?"
(Grumble) Sure.
"Wait, maybe move more to the left?"
(Grumble) Sure.
"Wait, let's get more together sose the fountain is on the right, OK?"
(Grumble) Sure. Click. Great! Bye.
Yousa! Quite a view. Straight down. I kept thinking that some Engineer designed
and oversaw the installation of this Glass floor. Hmmmmm. Half of all Engineers
finished in the bottom Half of their Class...
Hmmmm.
Class.
Glass.
Half-ass.
Should have passed.
It was fun. If only from the point of view of watching the
tourists cower in fear.
