| Our unit officially portrays the 2nd Squad, 1st Platoon, Company F, 2nd Battalion, 325th Glider Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. Glider Infantry was unique to WW2 - they weren't used before or after. With the exception of the 82nd AB insignia, and the U.S. flag worn on the right sleeve, glider infantry were equipped the same as regular infantry - the major difference being the mode of transportation. Our impression honors the courageous glider troops who, 60 years later, still have not received the recognition they so richly deserve.
