Come In Fighting is the latest painting in James Dietz's popular 82nd Airborne Division series. Originally commissioned by today's 325th Airborne Infantry, the painting captures the valiant glider assault of the 325th Glider Infantry Regiment during Operation Neptune on 6-7 June 1944. Col. Harry L. Lewis is depicted leading the men of the 325th through the enemy machine-gun and mortar fire towards the maze of hedgerows.
