Introduction to the Auroral People

(Granger): This will be a factual presentation of the life and nature of The Auroral People, including a description of reality as perceived by them in comparison, and sometimes in contrast, with reality as perceived by human beings. They could have been identified by some other name but we have chosen to refer to them here as "The Auroral People" because we write each morning, coming with the aurora, or the dawn of the day. I, Granger that is, am taking the thought patterns being presented by The Auroral People, arranged in order of "subject and predicate" so that they will be comprehensible to readers. We want the reader to understand that this is not some kind of "Talkien story" that we are creating. Nothing wrong with Professor Talkien's stories, not by any means, but that is not the nature of this writing. This is a factual presentation of the life and concepts of The Auroral People. They do not have physical bodies, of course, but they are no less real. We the Starters, have no physical bodies, but we are every bit as real as when we did live in physical bodies on the earth. We need to get you over that little hill in order to get you to accept the reality of The Auroral People. Some people throughout history, and yet today, are quite aware of these folk. They are referred to by various names, and are often confused in stories and legends of history. Do not let the legends of history turn you away from the reality of truth. Keep a critical mind about you by all means, but keep it open as well.

Writer's Comment: [Four personalities from The Auroral People participated. in these sessions. Each selected a name by which they may be referred to, giving a sense of the variety in personality and interests. The names are: Jason, Spinks, Stephen, and Lady Godiva. Spinks describes the process as foI1ows: "We write through Granger's mind of course. Our thought-patterns have to be translated into your words. Without his acting as a translator we would not be able to give you this information in this nice, precise way." Lady Godiva describes the writing in this way: "In performing the writing, I simply arrange within my mind the thought-patterns I wish to present and concentrate, much as you would, on the ideas and on the mind of the one through whom the message is sent. The personality known as Granger, who is of the physical earth but once removed into the spiritual life, receives the thought-patterns of my mind and translates them into earth-form thought-patterns, much as a translator in your earth-life does when a speech is given in one language to be translated into another language for the listener. There are some other minor efforts required in the translating but that is the basic concept of what is happening." Lady Godiva continues: "Through this channel, I observe, with some degree of fascination, the writer in the earth recording very easily what I am thinking. The process is interesting in that no one requires any trance, or deep sleep, or dream. The writing just flows through so easily that it is a point of amusement to me that it can be done so easily. The only real requirement I observe here is the need to have a certain combination of willing, disciplined, and open minds that work together in a certain harmony of discipline and effort."]
