On-line Auctions
How they work...
Introduction
- The process of an online auction is much the same as a live auction but generally over a longer timeframe.
- You can browse through the site to check out a wide list of categories and thousands of items for auction.
- Users place bids for items listed on the site
-
- Sellers are notified through email on the status of their items (when bids are placed, when the
auctions are over and the name and email address of the winners).
Registration
- In order to take part in an auction you need to Register
- Registration is usually free and quite simple
- Once you register you automatically become eligible to bid on items and to list items for sale:
- To register you need to fill in an online form and choose a User name.
- You need to read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- An initial Password will be assigned and emailed to you after submitting the form.
