What
about learning about my family, and their ancestors and descendants? Who knows you who read this, could very well
be a relative. This reminds me of a
story I read, about two to three years ago, that each person came into this
world came via two parents, four great grandparents, and eight great
grandparents. Go back 500 or so years,
each person is looking for approximately 5 million people!!!
Back in those days, it was
not uncommon for each of those five million people to have in excess of ten
children, to cover any infant mortality, which is also quite common, given the
fact that medical science was virtually non existent. And each of those ten or so children reared
their own ten. With that in mind, it is
no wonder that we are all related.
And it also makes me wonder
why there is so many wars and disputes going on in
this world. The people in the wars could
very well be fighting their own relatives!!!
