The Godard group at the University of Iowa is pleased to announce an international conference:
READING GODARD:
INTERTEXTUALITY AND THE FILM AND VIDEO WORK OF JEAN-LUC GODARD
to be held April 5-7 in the Becker Communication Studies Building, Rm. 101.

Godard is the most allusive of filmmakers. This conference will therefore seek to closely investigate some important intertextual links in his work. Speakers from Europe, Canada and the United States will cover such areas as Godard and the written word, Godard and the image, and Godard and the body. In addition, a wide selection of rarely seen films and videos will be screened.

For more information, please refer to the program below, or contact the Institute for Cinema and Culture at (319) 335-1348.
