Below is the website version of "Extra" article on Steve Austin's situation:

His muscles of steel and her body beautiful have turned them into the king and queen of the wrestling ring. But now "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's fists of fury may have landed him in hot water with the law for allegedly putting in some unscheduled practice on his beautiful manager wife, affectionately known to wrestling fans as the lovely Miss Debra.

A terrified Miss Debra called 911 early Sunday morning to report a violent argument with her husband at their luxury home inside a gated community in San Antonio. Police say they found her weeping with a welt under her right eye and bruises on her back. Sergeant Gabriel Trevino says, "We saw some very visible signs of bodily injury to the victim."

Trevino says "Stone Cold" had fled before officers arrived on the scene and they're yet to make an arrest or even question him. He says, "We're in the middle of the investigation process now."

The scandal has rocked Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Entertainment empire, which had molded "Stone Cold" into one of its biggest stars. WWE honcho Jim Ross says the alleged assault comes just a week after another "Stone Cold" furor in which the wrestler suddenly walked out over creative differences. Ross says, "There's something else bothering him and I wish I knew what it was so I could help him."

"Stone Cold" is believed to have finally returned to his home yesterday. News choppers spotted him driving away in a yellow corvette to rendezvous with an unidentified companion. Police say they are unable to take any further action against him unless Miss Debra files formal assault charges, which seems unlikely. Ross says, "My sources have told me they've reconciled and are working things out."
