Media from all over the world are picking up the news of Austin assaulting his wife and his situation with the WWE now. Howard Stern spoke about it on his morning show, ABC News Wire has covered it, Extra will be doing an article on it, MTV has also posted a message concerning Austin.

Being a Singaporean, I have also found reports of Austin in Wednesday, June 19th edition of Life! newspaper. Page 3, titled "Austin 'beat wife'". Below it is the press release for The Rock's new movie. Rather shocking, actually.

The current situation is that it looks as though Debra is not willing to press charges against Austin and that the San Antonio Police Department has made it clear they will not take legal actions until Debra press charge.

As a result, Austin is not facing any legal trouble from this matter.
