faerielands

Kore comes-
Ascnding the green spiral stairway;
Blossoms blooming each her footfall
As winter weeps her own demise...
Kore comes-
The fire seed of mid-winter
Begins to flourish, begins to sow
In filigreed vines of spirit and leaf...
Kore comes-
The earth rejoices.
Birdsong rings with her gentle voice
As a newborn kiss releases life from the chill of Death.
Kore, Kore, Kore!
Tender leaves trembling
Unfurling like faery wings.
The shell begins to crack and fall away
As night becomes sweetened with the bliss of day.
Welcome Kore-
Gentle maiden in white petaled innocence.
Walking towards the mother's arms...
Laughing maiden, call forth the green,
Adoring the wild ways of the horned piper.
Dancing maiden, let loose our hearts-
That we may feel your innocent strength,
Your love uncondtional,
Boundless and free-
That all life may live
Within your harmony.
Come, Kore Come.
