faerielands

Shadows of darkness, between night and day,
How many shadows come dancing my way,
Shadows of gloom, shadows of joy,
Shadows that darkness of shadows enjoy .

Hide inside shadows, my sweet Faery kindred,
For there in the darkness, long I have lingered,
Waiting, at last, for a time yet to come,
When, no longer hiding, we may sing our song.

Shadows as fair as gossamer wings,
on tips of moonbeams, the joy that it brings,
Overlaid all by sweet morning dew,
Hear you the shadows calling to you.

If you hear the shadows calling you home,
Then just remember that you're not alone,
Many a traveler the shadows have seen.
But only the Faery may pass in between.

Weaving the shadows of darkness and light,
Come one and all, all Faeries unite,
Remember, my Fair, the time's coming soon -
When we freely may dance by light of the moon.
