Welcome to the terain page
brought to you by the modest abilities of Tom. Click on the thumbnails.
Various hindering terain printed or painted on the backs of the oficial MWDA templates, and then cut out.
This is some water-like material from Wal-Mart, cut out to conform to the oficial MWDA shapes. I have a ton of these.
One of the first pieces I made from 1" styrene insulation. Not too bad, but it's gotten beat up a few times already.
Also one of the first pieces I made from styrene insulation. It was fun to do, but it also has gotten the crap beat out of it. I thought the straws were very insired.
These were supposed to be foundations for larger buildings, but they're very weak and I have better material for that. Right now, they're convenient.
This is supposed to be a rendition of Kressely War Works from one of the old battletech books. When I looked it up on WK, I found it still existed in DA, but by a less warlike name. Still, it was fun.
A tribute to the World Trade Center murder victims. I'ld like to re-make this in a sturdier fasion. It's on the oficial blocking terain template.
A simple rocky column. Kinda sloppy, but I'll fix it up one of these days. The concept and the shape I liked, it's a B6 even when you turn it upside down.
A tower made from a used caulk tube. I'll have to change the base to a sturdier one some day (probably when it cracks off)
I still have yet to finish the groundwork on this one. It's made from 2 crystal light containers, some bits, and some hobby trusses from plastruct.
Here's a good look at a naked building. A white owl cigar tube, diabetes test strip container, resistors, old paint lid, all kinds of good stuff.
How bout some bought stuff. It's some kind of molded stuff from some company, who knows, but they're not bad as little blockings.
This was a building featured on the W40K that I expounded on. It's foamcore, cardstock, and the door is a styrofome lid from the local diner.
This is the same kind of building, the same template, just cut up. I cut all of the pieces before attaching them and used some modgepodge to stiffen the frays.
This is the same building as the first, but blown to smitherines. Not too bad for an amature, right?
I love this one. Crystal light pots, polystyrene card, and pieces of plastruct. My current pieces are heading more in this dirrection.
