At Home on the Farm with
July 2002
So it's no wonder the years clock up so quickly! In the photo to the
right, we're celebrating Dad's 74th birthday this past June 22. Mom was
72 in May. And me? You can guess, but I'm not quite ready for AARP!
We recently came back from a week in California where we attended the
Pacific Coast Swiss Singing and Yodeling Festival. Our trip there was
primarily to promote
Sängerfest 2003 of the North American Swiss
Singing Alliance which will be held in New Glarus/Monroe next summer.
The Pacific Coast festival was not too
far from San Francisco, so we were able to do a little sightseeing in that
area. We were fortunate to be able to take a cruise around the Bay
(see Greg at the left with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background)
when the weather was nice and views were wonderful.
I also have two Krauss cousins who live in the area - Gary in Alameda, and
Ginny in Berkeley - so we enjoyed visits with them as well. The photo
below is Ginny and her husband, Walt, on the deck of their
cozy home, the Troll House, in Berkeley, which they share with their
two cats, Clarissa and Chamomile.
You can take a look at a few more pictures from our trip
here.
In addition to my modest little website here, I have designed and
maintain the websites for other organizations I'm involved with.
You can take a look at them at the following sites:

So, check back again sometime....there will no doubt be some changes
here as time goes on. You can also drop us an e-mail at dkrauss@inwave.com
It's hard to believe we're half-way through the
year already! Like most people, we've had an incredibly busy spring
and summer, and the rest of the year looks like more of the same.
