| Gissette Forte, an international young painter, was born in Colon, Republic of Panama. She, was inclined to the arts in her early years. Always painting, drawing and participating in different art contests in her country. Obtaining numerous recognitions in the art world. She studied painting and drawing at the Panama Canal College in the Republic of Panama. Last year, she obtained the first place in the Panama Canal contest to celebrate the Earths Day. Her design was used for a national campaign. Her art work is a diverse compilation of her own life and travel experiences. One side of her work, shows the everyday life of native Panamanians, market vendors, the beautiful Panamanian landscape and culture, etc. The other side shows a more complex view of the world. A mixture of colors, textures, forms and shapes that creates a mystic environment that explains her recent work. |
