I have been reading DK for about 15 years and I read about 35 off his books. There where times that I consider this title his best and then I read a new one, and it changed. Besides that, if, If I were to tell why like this or that, I also have to explain, why I do't like some off his other books and I'm wondering if you really whould like that kind off statements on your side.

Dean Koontz is my favorite author. the first book i read by him was midnight. my aunt got it for my grandpa and then i read it. after that i read fear nothing-i was really hooked then! I've been reading ever since. and everytime i think i have a favorite, i read another one and it's like-yeah! this is my new favorite! hehe He's one of those writers that keeps you guessing and reading for hours! I have almost all of his books and can't wait to read all of them! He's very talented and I think his brilliance shows in his writing. I also think it's cool that he takes the time to research historic events, guns, people, the origins of some objects and what not that he uses. ya learn things in his books too!

I've only recently discovered Dean Koontz after a friend recommended him to me. So far I have read Fear Nothing and Seize the Night and I can't wait for the third in that series to be published. I am currenlty reading Demon Seed and I've nearly finished that after only starting reading it 4 days ago!! I really enjoy his books and I have been really busy on ebay bidding for all the books I can get my hands on!! So now I've got lots of happy hours reading to do |:O)

I love the way he writes, how he makes all the characters feel so real. I love the plot twist how you never know where you're going. How he can take the most normal of places and make it feel so sinister.

Dean Koontz is great! His stories have the most amazing character developments, and the reader really gets into their heads. The way he utilizes bizarre twists with turns and weaves them into the plot is top notch. The imagery of places, enviroments, and settings from his discriptive writing is incredible. Very suspenseful stories.

From sodium vapor lamps to warm amber light I love his writing!

When I was ten years old, I never even heard of this man. Stephen King ruled our Belgian Bookstores. Then my sister got married, moved out but left something behind: a Koontz book. It was "Strangers". I picked it up, started reading and got hooked. Now, about ten years later, I can call myself a true maniac. Dean Koontz has helped me survive some tough years. My own battles are nothing compared to what his characters have to go through and that's exactly what kept me going. His incredible realistic style makes me believe that everything he writes about can happen in real life and if those things can happen to real people, I don't have it that bad :) His books are a complete denial of the law "survival of the strongest". Physical strength isn't what keeps people alive; it's their emotional strongness that does the trick. Time after time some challenged character finds him/herself in a situation where he has to rise, conquer his or her fears and survive an awesome adventure.
