The founder of the Red cross is Jean Henry Dunant.It is an independent voluntary relief movement.The Redcross society in its International &national capacity works to prevent and alleviate human suffering whereever it may be found.its purpose is to protect life and health and to ensure respect for the human being.it promotes mutual understanding,friendship,cooperation and peace among all.

A.P.Red cross is having very good name.It is working perfectly with our beloved lady governor mrs.Haripriya rangarajan,who is the chairman of our state redcross.under her valuable guidance members are doing very well.IN THE FLOOD PERIOD in our state members moved very actively and provided flood victims with enough clothes and food.WHEN IN ORISSA FLOOD PERIOD also redcross group went orissa and attended their needs emergently.
ON REPUBLIC DAY every body come to know about natures disaster earth quake in bhuj and other areas of ahmedabad.our lady governor reacted very pastly,with her full co-operation redcross group went there and provided them medically,attended their needs.with the help of donatios our state redcross given enough money for two school buildings.these schools are inagurated by our respected governor and beloved lady governor.

JRC is means junior redcross is mainly mould for school students.Junior red cross is a branch of red cross to develop all these values of children who will be the next generation or red cross workers ,working it for a cause.
Junior red cross started in canada in 1914,in 1920 Junior red cross movement has become International.In India there are 3753 Junor Red cross groups in schools and colleges.a total membership is more than about 9 lakhs boys and girls.like parent organisation,It is a non-official,
non-political,non-religious,International movement for extending the peace time work of
redcross.
j.r.c.helps in moulding the charcter of students in their formative years while inculcating in them discipline and enthusiasm to participate in service activities.such AS1. PROMOTION OF HEALTH

In the previous year IRCS of A.P.started youth redcross.it is a new branch,with the help of college youth these programs are running well.Motive is to be as helping hand,can do more service to needed people,filling warmth between the people.giving awareness about cleanliness and medical care,conducting blood donation camps.In the short period I.R.C.S.of A.P.succeeed with
Y.R.C.co-operation.

A.P.blood bank started in new millenium.pillar of the blood bank is mrs.saraswathi rao.she donated her full property to construct blood bank.her total property and her house also she donated,now also she activates all the members of redcross.Because of continuous effort of our lady govenor mrs.haripriya rangarajan and mrs.rajyalaxmi blood bank come in to light.mrs.rajya laxmi is the chairman of blood bank.it is running perfectly with the help of proficient doctors team and working group.Now blood bank is having enough stock of blood.To reach the people,s need and emergency it is providing pure blood.
