"Cain" is a sweet, typey Crested that
screams "Look at me!" This boy finished in true "Gingery" style
winning back-to-back Best of Winners for a total of 10 points at the DVCCC Specialty and
the National Specialty shows in New York. That evening, he was off to Georgia to live with
his new owner, Lynne Salley (Summerlin). Lynne was a novice to the Dog Show world, but
with a little encouragement, she decided to show Cain in the CCCN Specialty in Nashville a
few months later. Despite the presence of some top dogs and Lynne's inexperience, the
Judge selected Cain as the Best In Specialty Show Winner! Neither Lynne nor we could be
any more proud. Since then, Cain was shown in Westminster where he earned an Award of
Merit (2001)
Before his trip to Georgia, Cain needed to be walked before such a long trip.
Luckily for him, the NBA Basketball players were on strike and needed "odd jobs"
in order to help supplement the lost wages. Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs was hired
to walk Cain and a few other friends.
