"I'd like to introduce to you, a group of fiine young ladies!  Here is "TRINITY"!!" Jerry announced as the girls bounced onstage in their khakis and all.
"First of all, we'd just like to say thank you from teh bottom of our hearts for giving us the opportunity to perform for you all tonight.  We'd also like to thank Jerry for believing in us enough to get us up here.  Thank you all so much.  I'm Dee," Dee announced.
    "I'm Vanessa."
    "I'm Kris."
"And we are 'TRINITY' !" they all ended.  They quickly went into "Candy" and they finished up with "Let Me Let Go," and an accappella version of "All I Have To Give."  By the time they finished, the crowd was cheering.  It was funny, guys in tuxedoes cheering!
"Thank you! We are 'TRINITY'!"  the girls said as they bowed.  They were exstatic.  They rushed back to the room to change back into their dresses then, they quickly joined their men at the party.  As soon as they entered, record execs began approaching them.  They had RCA, Jive, Sony, Virgin, and various other labels making offers.  Even Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit approached them.  They set up meeting times with the ones that interested them the most-Jive and RCA.
Soon, music started and couples hit the floor to dance to KC and Jo-Jo's "All My Life."  As Dee and Brian started dancing, she noticed Kevin sitting by himself.  Dawn was no where in sight.
"Bri, what's up with Kev?" Dee asked.
"Hmm," he said lifting his head from it's spot buried in her hair, "Oh, I have no idea.  Where's Dawn?"
"I don't know," she replied with concern, "Hey, Bri, if you don't mind I'm gonna dance with you cousin and see what's wrong."
"Oh, I see.  The same thing happened to me growing up.  All the girls go for the older cousin. Thanx," he pouted.
"Bri-you'll get a most of my dances.  Besides, your the cousin with all my heart, soul, and love."
"I know, I'm just kiddin'.  I'm worried about him too, but I'm not gonna dance with him!  Go ahead babe," he said before he kissed her softly, "I'm gonna grab Kris anyways."
"Oh, I see!  Going for my bestfriend!" she laughed before she walked to Kevin's table.
"Hey, Kev, do you wanna dance?"
"I thought you were dancing with Rok?"
"Yeah, well, he bores me! I figured I'd come dance with the more experience, older cousin, the one who knows how to dance," she joked.  Of course, Brian was a a great dancer! (That's for sure!) She was just trying to make Kevin laugh.
"Oh, well, I thought the guy was supposed to ask the girl to dance.  So, will you dance with me?" he asked.
"Sure," she replied cheerfully as he took her hand and led her to the dance floor where Brandy's "Have You Ever," was now playing.  They danced in silence and Dee glanced over Kevin's shoulder and saw Brian and Kris.  Brian caught her eye, whispered something in Kris' ear, and pulled her closer to him as he rested his chin on her head which was against his chest.  They were talking about something.  Dee began pushing Kevin closer to Kris and Brian.
"Um, I'm supposed to lead," Kevin joked.
"I know, sorry," Dee said as she watched Brian and Kris.  They were close enough now to hear Brian tell Kris, "You know, I can help you get over Nick.  I can make you totally forget him," as Kris said, "Nick who?"  Then Brian replied with, "Yeah, and Dee will never find out."  Then, Kris said, "Okay," and leaned up to kiss him.  Their lips never even touched, but, Dee gasped and almost fell over.  Kevin braced her and looked at her before turning around to see Kris and Brian laughing hysterically.  Dee glared at them and resumed dancing with Kevin.
"So, um, Kev, if you don't mind me asking, what's up with you and Dawn?"  When he was silent, she added, "If you don't want to talk about it, it's okay."
"No, it's fine.  Dee, you're one of my best friends, I could tell you anything," he said before he went on to tell her what happened, "....and, I don't know, we were both kissing.  No one started it or anything.  Dawn walked in and saw us, and, yeah, well now she hates me."
"Oh that's awful!  I'm so sorry, Kev."
"Yeah, me too.  I just wish I had her back.  I love her so much!"
"Do you want me to talk to her?"
"You can try.  I doubt it will work."
    "I'll try my best."
"Thankz," he said as the song ended and he hugged her, "I owe you big time!"
"You're welcome!  I'm always here for you," she said before she walked to the table that Brian and Kris were now sitting at.  "Very funny you two,"she said as she approached them.  This just cracked them up more.
"Sorry, Dee.  It was too funny!  Brian told me the things you said about you leaving him for Keving, and we had to!" Kris said.  Dee sat down in Brian's lap and he wrapped his arms around her as she pouted.
"Aw, baby, I'm sorry," he said as she continued to pout.  "Baby?" he asked as he kissed her from her cheek down to her mouth.  She didn't kiss him back, as much as she wanted to, she didn't.  "Deedle, honey, come on, we were only playin'.  Kris help me out!" he pleaded with Kris.  Kris just shook her head.  She knew what Dee was doing and exactly what Dee wanted, and, as badly as Dee had Brian wrapped around her fingers, she'd get it too.  Kris laughed to herself as she watched Brian slowly caving in.  "I love you," Brian tried.  Dee grinned and grabbed his face and kissed him passionately.
"That's what I wanted Brian Thomas Littrell," she laughed as he looked at her quizzically.
"Um, but you already knew that!"  he said.
"I know, believe me, I know, but I love hearing it!  I love you with all my heart and soul, Brian," she finished sincerely.
"And I love you with all
my heart and soul.  I love you, I love you, I love you," he said between small kisses.
Kris, who was having a blast because she forced herself not to think of Nick, was overwhelmed with sadness again.  Her and Nick used to be like that!  Worse than that, actually!!  She glanced at the other happy couples in the room and she remembered how people used to say Nick and her made them sick because they were so cute together.  Oh how she wished they were like that again!! But, she knew that couldn't happen; Nick had made it painfully obvious he liked Sandi.  She knew there could never be another "Kris and Nick".  She had leave this place!
==========================================================================================
Kris ran into the hall crying, where she found Dawn sitting against a wall crying.  Dawn looked up at her.
"Bad night for both of us, huh?" Dawn said.
"Yeah," Kris said softly as she sat beside Dawn, careful not to damage her long white gown.  "Well, what happened with you?"
"Well..." Dawn started to relate the whole "Kevin/Sandi" thing to Kris.  When she was done, Kris filled her in on why she was crying this night, since Dawn already knew why Kris and Nick were no longer together.  "Wow!  Looks like Sandi is at the root of both our problems," Dawn said.
"Um, I don't think so,'' Kris said.  She was always the most compassionate one and took everyone involved in the situation's feeling into thought.  "I really blame Nick for our problems.  Sandi can't help that Nick's attracted to her, but Nick can sure help to not make it point to be so obvious to me!  In your situation, um, I think both Kevin and Sandi are at fault."
"Yeah," Dawn said.  "I'm getting kinda sleepy, besides, we should get a taxi and get to the airport since our flight leaves soon.  The others are probably already there," she finished before they both got up, gathered their things, hailed a cab, and got to the airport, where, sure enough, they others were.  Their plane quickly arrived and everyone boarded in silence since they were all pretty exhausted.  All the couples took their seats next to each other and cuddled while Dawn and Kris sat next to each other and Kevin and Nick sat next to each other.  Their flight was quick considering everyone was asleep.  They arrived in Orlando at 5:30 a.m. the next morning.  Howie let everyone bunk at his house, since it was closest to the airport and he didn't want his friend's driving to far.  They all needed their sleep and didn't care where they slept, considering the nights events.
