"Guys, I'd like you to meet Britney," Victor said, "You probably already know who she is," he joked. Of course they already knew who she was, she was Britney Spears. They all said their 'hello's' as politely as possible.
"Well bro, lookes like we're both keeping it in the music industry," Dee joked trying to ease the tension in the room-you could cut it with a knife. "How'd you guys meet?"
"Wel,..." they both started. There was a small "arguement" of who should go first. Britney went first, "Well, okay, first off we were both at the 'MTV Movie Awards' adn we were sitting right next to each other. We started talking and really hit it off. We both really, really liked each other, but after that night, we figured we'd never see each other again!"
"Yeah, but then wer were both at this little charity Go-Kart race. Well, I was in first and she was in second. I have no idea what happened, but out cars got tangled together and we wrecked. Anyways, we spent the rest of the day together, and two months later, here we are!" Victor finished.
"I'm so happy for you!" Dee said as she hugged both of them, even Britney.
"Your parents must be flippin' that both their kids are dating 'superstars'," Dawn said.
"Not really, they think it's a cool coinsidence, but they know that Bri and Britney are still normal, everyday people. They're just as happy as they'd be if we weren't dating "superstars"," Dee and Victor both kinda explained. (Note-Another weird thing is the first three letters of Brian and Britney are "Bri" wow!) Then Victor's beeper started going off.
"Can I use your phone?" he asked. Of course, Dee said yeah and everyone sat in an uncomfortable silence while Victor dialed the number. Britney eyed Kevin up and down. Dawn glared at her, very evily! (Is that even a word? I should become a BSB, I'm making up my own words like Howie "humblizing"!) Kris noticed this and started the conversation first, "So, Britney, how was you tour?" was the only thing she could think to ask. As Britney answered, Dee heard Victor ask,"Yo, Adam, what's up man?" to his team-mate, Adam Petty (should be Adam Hotty, but hey that's me, but Brian is still hotter, and always will be!) Victor drove the #17 car for "Petty Enterprises" while Adam drove #45.
"Let me talk to him!" Dee bugged but all she got was a finger telling her to hold on.
"Yeah, I should be there in a bit to discuss my car set-up and my extra parts are in my transporter," Victor said as Dee continued bugging him.
"Is that Dee?" Adam laughed.
"Yeah, I'm gonna leave and let you talk to her. Bye," Victor said as he handed to phone to Dee, hugged her goodbye, told the others "Bye" and "Nice to meet you" and left with Britney. Everyone breathed a sigh of relieve. Dee talked to Adam for a while before he had to start his "meet-n-greet". Someone grabbed the phone before she hung up.
"Dee!"
"Jeff! Hey!"
"Hey! I haven't talked to you in forever!"
"I know! How are things going?" Dee asked Jeff Gordon. Her and Jeff were super close friends. He was like her big brother and always looked out for her.
"Great! I'm ready to start the new season, I wanna win Daytona so bad!"
"Well, I have to play favorites with Victor and all, but you and Adam are like family too!" Victor, Adam, and Jeff were best friends since Victor entered the "Busch" series last year. Jeff and Dee had met before that at a college sponsered NASCAR convention. They became super friends after that! They talked a little while longer about their lives. Dee told Jeff about Brian and he was so happy for her since she'd had such bad luck with guys. "So, how's Brooke?" Dee asked about Jeff's wife. Dee didn't really like Brooke, she thought she was after Jeff's money. Jeff knew how Dee felt, but Dee never brought the issue up unless it was asking how Brooke was. As long as Jeff was happy.
"Well, um, not so great," Jeff said as he went on to explain how Brooke was wanting him to demand extra money from his "Pepsi" deal. Dee wanted to say "Told ya so!" so badly, but she bit her tongue.

Dee and Jeff talked a little while longer before he had to go. They said "I love you" at the end of the conversation and Dee encountered weird looks from the guys. The girls knew about Jeff. Brian looked like he was fighting himself not to give her a weird look. "He's like my big brother, guys," she explained looking straight at Brian. She liked that he had a "jealousy" (I couldn't find another word) issue. It made her feel stronger about their relationship! She knew he loved her!
"I know, I'm not upset, babe," he laughed as he pulled her into his lap and kissed her.
"Why in the world is your little brother dating Britney Spears," Vanessa broke the kiss. Everyone else agreed because of what she said about their songs on her record and her "helping [the Boys] out."
"Yeah, I mean, Mrs. 'I heard that they said they were, like, helping me when I feel it was me helping them. I mean, like, in 10 yrs. when someone picks up my CD they're gonna know who I am, but when they pick up a Backstreet CD, it's gonna be like "Where are the Backstreet Boys?" AJ mimicked in a girl voice. "I'll show her 'helping her out'! People will be like, "Oh hey, my kids listen to BSB and I remember them. Hey who's the hoochy on this CD?"
"I know guys, but I can't help who my brother dates. I can't stop him. I don't agree with it, but as long as he's happy!" Dee said. (Note-are you seeing a reacurring theme of "As long as ____________'s happy, so am I"?) Everyone was quiet for a while. Vanessa and AJ were engrossed in a conversation when AJ cleared his throat.
"Um, guys," Vanessa started, "I'm gonna move in with Alex."
"Cool!" the guys said at the same time the girls said "What!" Vanessa knew exactly what her friends were thinking.
"It's not like that guys. We're gonna have separate rooms. But, since Alex is gonna be gone a lot, I might as well be at his house to take care of things. I mean, I'm gonna be his wife!" she said as the girls sat there quietly. They didn't want their friend to move out, but they understood. Vanessa was uncomfortable, thinking she upset her friends.
"That's great Ness!" Kris said as the others echoed. They all got up and hugged Vanessa and AJ. Vanessa breathed a sigh of relief.
"Well, since Vanessa has news, I guess I shoudl speak mine. Well, I'm out of college so I decided to move down here to be with Kevin. Well, he got a call form Lisa; she's leaving as wardrobe person. She said she couldn't handle what happened with Dee and Brian-she felt guilty for causing some of the trouble. So, if it's okay with ya'll I'm gonna take her place!" Dawn said. Everyone agreed excitedly; they thought it was great! Dee and Brian thought it was awesome, but they felt a little weird and uncomfortable because of the reason Lisa left. They were extremely happy for Dawn, though!
