"Hello?" Howie answered Brian's phone since Brian was in the entertainment room and didn't hear it.
    "Howie?" a femal voice asked.
    "Yeah, who's this?" he asked.
"Um, can I talk to Brian?"
"Yeah, hold on a sec," he said as he laid the phone back down on Brian's bunk and walked back to the entertainment room.  "Rok, phone call," he said to Brian who was watching "Fools Rush In" with the others and thinking about what Dee had said about them "rushing into things."  He looked up at Howie who saw his friend's tired eyes.  He hoped the female voice was Dee so they'd get back together, but it didn't sound like her.
"K, thanks man.  Who is it?" Brian asked.
"Um, they didn't say.  It's a female voice." Howie said as Brian instantly perked up.  He rushed to his phone.
    "Hello?" he said expecting Dee.
    "Hey Bri."
"Jo?!  Why are you calling me?" Brian asked suspiciously.
"Well, I have something really important to tell you."
    "What?" Brian asked, somewhat annoyed.
    "Um, please don't hate me."
    "What?" he asked more annoyed.
"Well, I won't beat around the bush.  Um, well, you know who told Lisa about Dee?  It was me," Jo sighed.
"What!  You ruined my relationship with the girl I loved, the perfect girl for me!  Why?  You left me!"
"It's just that I can't stand seeing you with someon, even though, I don't want us to be back together."
"I can't believe you," he said hatefully.
"Brian, I'm sorry.  How can I make it up to you?"
"Make it up to me?  You can never make up to me what you did.  But, you can tell Dee and then you can forget about ever seeing me again.  Don't come around either of us!" Brian said very angrily.
    "Okay, Brian, I'm so sorry!"
"Sure, whatever.  Goodbye Jo," he said as he hung up the phone abrubtly and dropped it into his bunk.  What was he gonna do?

"Shelly!  How's it goin?" Dee asked after she picked up the phone.  She had just returned from the airport.  Luke had gone back to S.C. for a final semester of school, then he was gonna come back to FL to look for a job in veterinary medicine.
"Fine, actually, great!  Howie's the best, as usual.  The other day, everyone was gonna watch a movie, but Howie just wanted to hold me, so we spent the whole time just holding each other in his bunk.  It was great, well, until Brian's phone.....oops, I'm sorry!  Anyways, I justed wanted to see how you were.  Um, I was kinda wondering if you were gonna watch the concert tonight since the local news channel is broadcasting it?  I know you're gonna say no, but you have to!  Please Dee, the guys are doing something special for us!"
    "Us?"
"Well, me, Kris, Vanessa, and Dawn.  Please watch it!! I'll call you to make sure!"
"Okay, I'll watch it!  I promise!" Dee said wanting to make her friend happy.
"Cool!  We'll be home tonight!  We all miss your wisecracks!! Oh, I gotta go though, so bye babes!"
"Bye, Chica!" Dee glanced at the clock that said 6:30 p.m.  The concert would start in 30 min., so she turned it on to watch the opening acts.  Aaron Carter made a "suprise" appearance, of course, it was staged for the fans, the guys knew about it.  He was too adorable!!!  Then, Many Moore came out and Dee was really getting into the music!!  Soon, Mandy left and the stage got dark.  Instead of the "StarWars" theme, the crowd heard Nick saying "Orlando, I've got a small, small idea," and Brian saying, "Let's do it guys!"  The fans were pumped up and the guys did a medley of their fast songs and then went into "Larger Than Life."  Then Brian came center stage and said "This is for a very special person, you know who you are" as he looked sincerely into the camera.  The music to "Like a Child"  By the time the chorus was up, tears were streaming down Dee's cheeks.  As Brian looked into the camera, tears were streaming down his cheeks too.  This broke Dee down and she really cried.  After the music ended, the camera panned the audience; tons of people were crying.
"Well, I hope you don't mind, but we're gonna sing another group's song next.  We just hope 98 degrees doesn't kill us," Kevin joked.  The guys went into the audience and brought their girlfriend's onstage and Brian got an adorable blonde 6 yr. old from the crowd.  As the music to "Heaven is Missing an Angel" started, more tears of joy took over Dee's eyes.  She knew this song was for her from Bri, even though she wasn't there.  This was their song, it was the first one they heard together, actually it was on the radio when they first kissed in the trailor.  Dee was definately not mad anymore!

The other girls had tears in their eyes before the end of the song.  Vanessa didn't really like the fact that the word "Angel" was in the song, but she was the one who had AJ, that's all that counted.  Besides, "I Knew I Loved You," by Savage Garden was their song, but this was for Dee.  As the guys sang the chorus one last time, acapella, A.J. dropped to one knew and brought a small box from his jacket pocket.  The chorus ended and everyone turned to look at A.J. and Vanessa.
"Ness, baby, I know this isn't our song and I know we haven't known each other that long, but I love yo so much and I think of you 24/7.  I want to spend the rest of my life with you.  Vanessa Lawrence, will you marry me?" AJ asked as he looked up into her teary eyes.  Everyone held their breath in anticipation of her answer.
