Overview

The interactive pronomial prefixes denote that someone does (something) to someone else. Each such prefix specifies exactly who does to whom. In a complete sentence, one may wish to specify the "names" or the nouns actually participating in the action, but that comes in addition to the interaction pronomial prefix.

Example:
"She teaches him" would be "höwöyëstáni". It is composed of the prefix "höwö-", denoting "she-to-him", followed by the verb "-yëstáni", to teach. A complete sentence might be "Höwöyëstáni ne aksút ne ha'ni" -- "my grandmother teaches my father". Substituting the pronoun "höwö-" (she-to-him) with the pronoun "shaku-" (he-to-her) would yield "shakuyëstáni ne aksút ne ha'ni" meaning "my father teaches my grandmother".

Notes:
  1. Nevermind Dual Pronouns
The interactive prefixes do not differentiate between dual plurality (we-two, you-two, they-two, etc.) and normal "multiple" plural (we-all, you-all, they-all); those distinctions are made only in the Active (i.e. subjective) pronomial prefixes.

  2. Nevermind Inclusive / Exclusive Pronouns
The interactive prefixes do not differentiate between "exclusive" (e.g. "we-all, not including you") and "inclusive" prefixes (such as "we-all, including you"); those distinctions are made only in the Active (i.e. subjective) pronomial prefixes.
