Thinking about a LEXUS ?
Concerned about safety ?
Think about the following:

My Lexus RX300 Accident
by Beverly J. Held of Macon, Georgia
AS PUBLIC INFORMATION TO OTHERS THINKING ABOUT AN RX300:
My one month old Lexus RX300 was broadsided on the drivers side by a small toyota  operated by a drunk with a revoked licence. The impact was with sufficient force to flip the vehicle over, push it approximately 20 feet into a telephone pole and total the RX300!
FACT: THE IMPACT PUSHED THE DRIVER DOOR PILAR SEVERAL INCHES INWARD
FACT: THE SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR IS LOCATED BEHIND THE DOOR PILAR
FACT: NOT ONE AIRBAG IN THE RX300 DEPLOYED!

Fact: Driver's Side to rear view
Fact: Front driver side view
.
Questions about Car Safety Promises:
Although the driver and left rear passenger doors were struck with
great force, the driver's airbag safety feature failed to function.
As a result, Beverly Held sustained very severe bruising to her left thigh in the groin area; she also has problems raising her left arm and the shoulder area which should have been cushioned. She suffered impacts against the left side of her head and upper mid head areas. Her neck and back areas are exceedingly stressed. She has felt faint, requires much sleep beyond the ordinary amount, and has blurry vision at times. This should have been prevented by the driver's side airbag deploying. Not one airbag in the RX300 deployed !

Fact: Lexus was informed of the failure of the airbages to deploy!
Fact: Lexus investiged the vehicle and claims the impact wasn't of sufficient force to deploy the airbags!
Questions to consider:
How safe is the Lexus RX 300 and wouldn't you want a car that lives up to its supposed safety standards?
Would you want to be in a crash with the following damage and find out your airbags fail to deploy!
