A Tarnished Idol

The camera reveals a back alley somewhere and then pans down on Bobby Idol who is standing solemnly amongst trash cans and litter. He is looking down and slowly shaking his head. “Congratulations, Howdy...congratulations on winning the Interboro Title at Hardcore Halloween. I’m very proud of you, really, I am. And I mean that...from one long time friend to another. IT was awesome to watch you win the title from Legacy,” Idol’s smile now drops from his face and is replaced by a more strict and aggressive face, “from my couch, at home!”

Bobby grits his teeth now, “Why was I at home you ask? Because of you! Legacy laid me out and you some how cheated to keep me down for the three count to eliminate me from that Battle Royale. You cheated and you know it!”

Idol’s voice comes down a very decibels as he speaks now, the camera slowly closing in on him as he continues, “I thought you were my friend? I though all the time we used to hang out together and chill held some weight, but I guess it doesn’t. Some friend you are. But I see that now, I see what kind of friend you really are. You are greedy and selfish and will stop at nothing, even if it means screwing over your best friend, do win. Fine. Two can play this game, don’t think I will forget this.”

Out walk Mr. Hardcore & Joe Rudland, making their way down to the ring Joe gets a microphone before stepping between the ropes. "This is it, the final nail in El Golpe Mortal's coffin. Did you see the way we put away Team Havoc at Hardcore Halloween? But that wasn't good enough. It seems Mr. Leon decided to request another singles match against me, even though I beat him & Roach two times in this very ring, fair and square."

The crowd boos at this statement. "Without further adeu, Ladies and gentlemen, This next match is Rated R for Mild Violence, Adult Content & Rudland. Due to the nature of this match, viewer discretion is advised." The crowd boos this and Joe looks offended then laughes it off. Then out comes El Golpe Mortal & Roach: Team Havoc.

Alone

In the locker room, we see The Norseman Danny Scheie lacing his boots preparing for his match against Legacy tonight when in Walks Delilah who sits beside Danny and starts getting her equipment ready. "What're you doing?" Danny asks. "I'm getting ready for your match tonight" Delilah responds smiling. "Yeah, about that, Kris. I think I should go out there alone tonight." Danny says standing up turning away from her to look in a mirror.

"What? why?" Delilah asks now standing as well and walking towards him. She reaches a hand out to hold his but he doesn't turn around. "Dan? Talk to me" she says and Danny just sighs. "It's got to do with Hardcore Halloween.." Danny begins. "Where were you? I mean, I thought you'd have my back? we've been together how long now and you count a pinfall on me?" He says turning around to face her now. "Wait, You thought that just because we're together I'd cheat for you? Danny, when I said I was going to be fair and impartial I meant it, I'm dating you, but I've known Matt a long time. I wasn't going to give anyone an unfair advantage." Delilah says. The Norseman sighs again and grabs his hat, "Yeah well, I'll see you when the match is over." he says as he walks out of the locker room. Delilah then sits down and starts putting her gear away looking morose.
