I am happy to share one of my favorite quilt designs with you.  When we moved to the country we became very involved with bird watching.  As a result, the "Nature Around Us" wall hanging was created.  It is machine appliqued and quilted.  The original wall hanging has six birds.  Later the Blue Bird and the Chickadee were added as individual blocks. Plans are to have twelve in the series.  Keep watching for more birds. You can make one of the quilt squares into a pillow, a small wall hanging, join several together for a larger wall hanging, or use as many as you like for any size quilt.  Applique a bird on anything such as a vest, jumper, jacket, or sweatshirt.  Each individual kit includes an instruction sheet, pattern and prewashed cotton fabric for one bird block.  The complete and easy step by step instructions take you through your project.  Just add your own border, binding and backing.  Fabric may very slightly from photos.  Quilt Kits are Fun and Easy to Make!  Make them for yourself, for someone special, or give them as gifts  to another quilter.
