LOCAL CLUBS:  Local GFWC clubs meet monthly and offer educational and enlightening programs.  Each club decides its own projects and community involvement.  This diversity has kept GFWC of Missouri strong since its establishment in 1896.

MISSOURI GIRLS TOWN:  In 1954, GFWC of Missouri founded Missouri Girls Town, a residential care center for abused and neglected girls.  The campus has grown to care for 50 girls.  GFWC of Missouri clubs are proud to continue this effort as our #1 state project.

SOPHOMORE PILGRIMAGE:  Annually, our local clubs send the outstanding sophomore from each high school to Jefferson City on the second Tuesday in April.  This day promotes good citizenship and enables the students to see their state government in action.  This has been our ongoing project since 1934.

SCHOLARSHIPS:  GFWC of Missouri offers college scholarships to deserving students in Missouri universities each year.  Scholarships are offered in the areas of Art, Forestry, Health, Law, and Music.  Local GFWC clubs contribute toward these scholarships.

LIBRARIES 2000:  GFWC has committed to contribute $12.5 million in public library books and materials.  GFWC of Missouri clubs have supported this project since its inception in 1998, contributing to public and school libraries across the state.  In 2000, Missouri clubwomen also contributed 828 books to libraries in New Jersey and North Carolina following devastating floods.
