GEOPHYSICS STUDENTS CLUB This Undergraduate Geophysics Club is as vital as students make it. Some years students have gone to high school to introduce Geophysics Sub Department. And The others active groups make Bulletin of Geophysics Gadjah Mada, Study club and also have gone camping, climbing etc.

Job opportunities Some students find work within the Sub Department. The best way to get jobs is to talk to individual faculty. Sometimes faculty have grants that employ students. Geophysics students can almost always find work at the many laboratories in Gadjah Mada University. In vacation day, some students could be integrated to geophysics survey and learn a lot from it. This is an advantage for students to be tough and taking over the challenging situation.
SPEAKERS Undergraduates & Graduates are invited to attend Indonesian geophysicist Association meeting , a yearly event, which offers presentation by prominent geophysicist & Geologist from all over Indonesia. Many topics may be very advanced, attendance provide interaction with members in the Association. Hearing different professional speakers can provide a way for students to focus on future projects as well as finding exciting areas of research. Watch announcements in the corridors & via e - mails. Besides Follow Association of Indonesian Geophysicist (HAGI) meeting, some students also attend The International Association of Indonesian Physicist (HFI) meeting. In HAGI, Students association from all universities in Indonesia called HMGFI (Indonesian Geophysics Student Association) may provide media for many students activities. the students are member of HMGFI Gadjah Mada University Chapter. Many Geophysics students got scholarships.
