Welcome to the site!

Once in awhile, along comes something that is so wonderful--so awesomely terrific--that you just feel like shouting about it to the world. For me, that thing is a band called the Beatles, and they are what this site is (almost) all about. There are some non-Beatles things here, too, (Gasp!), but I hope you enjoy them as well. All in all, it's just my own little corner of the Internet to which I dedicate my weird little obsession(s).

Recent Updates

  • August 31, 2006 - Thanks to some smutty ads that spambots have been posting in my Guestbook recently, I have now changed the Guestbook settings so that all future entries must be approved by me before being added to the book. So when you add an entry from now on, it won't appear in the book until I approve it, which shouldn't take very long. :) Thankyaw.

  • August 24, 2006 - In response to requests, I have redesigned the Beatles Pictures Page and added 11 new pictures, which I scanned myself. In the new, improved pictures page, the pictures are now sorted by John Pictures, Paul Pictures, George Pictures, Ringo Pictures and Group Pictures. Hopefully this will be simpler to navigate.

  • July 27, 2006 - We have an affiliate! :) Yup, true: our new affiliate is Penny Lane, a groovy site I recommend you check out. As such, the Links page has now been expanded to become Links & Affiliates. There were a lot of broken links there that I fixed, added the Affiliates section therein, and also a section to plug various forums I'm a member of. Still no new pix yet; I'm workin' on it, don't worry.

  • July 16, 2006 - I've finally begun really expanding The Flipside. In honor of a certain brilliant TV show finally coming to DVD, I've created a mini-site called The Animaniacs Water Tower, which contains quizzes, pictures, sounds and links all about Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs. If you're a fan of the show, please check it out. (Also, as always with my new additions, if you see any broken links or other mistakes I've made, please mail me.

  • July 7, 2006 - I'm baaaaaaack! Be afraid--be very afraid! We're still trying to get everything unpacked, and I don't have any wonderful Beatles pix to share with you yet (still looking--don't worry!), but I have added ten more of my original animations to the Animations Page, and also while I was away, my eggs hatched, and now Robbie the wolf and Blinken the...mushy blue thing...have been added to my Adoptees Page. I wuv them vewy much. :) Still trying to get back on my feet here, but when things get settled, there will be more updates in store for ye!

  • June 10, 2006 - In what may be the last update for a little while, Mary Jane's gone to flapping her gums again (What's gotten into that girl lately? She never shuts up!!), and has composed an article made up of three smaller articles. Oh, also, Scorpio, the baby scorpion, has just hatched and is now sitting with his siblings in the Adoptees Page. Thank yaw.

  • May 16, 2006 - A reader was kind enough to point out the fact that I had forgotten to link the "Animations" button to the Animations Page. This has been rectified; thank you. :)

  • May 10, 2006 - Mary Jane's made a correction and there's a new link in the links page.

  • May 2, 2006 - The Animations Page is finally up, although there's not very much there yet. I've also added a link in the Links Page to a message board I frequent called Fab4theRecord.

  • April 11, 2006 - Mary Jane's back at the editorials' desk, and she's got some sad words about the loss of her favorite John Lennon impersonator.

  • April 6, 2006 - Ratty has been born! :) Find him on the Adoptees page.

  • March 29, 2006 - Another new page has cropped up, this one all about the Beatles' famous ancestors. I hope you'll get a little chuckle out of that. I've also fixed the music on the spotlight pages for John, Paul, George and Ringo, as well as the Beatles Song Quiz. More pages should be getting fixed within the coming days.

  • March 27, 2006 - Added a brand-new page, hip-hip hooray! Admittedly it isn't much, but it's a cute little waste of time about Paul ripping off Eric Idle's Rutles. It's a little bizarre, actually.
    I'd also just like to take this opportunity to mention that my family and I may be moving sometime in the next three months, and as a result of this move, I may not have the ability to update this site for quite a long time, which is a bummer as I was just beginning to jump into some new projects. I'll do what I can while I can, however.

  • February 19, 2006 - Complete overhaul of the site. Changed the front page, added, removed and reshuffled various other pages, to wit:
    • Moved the contents of "All Things Beatle-y" to the front menu.
    • Moved the updates to the front page as well (see?).
    • Moved the misc. games, adoptees and personality quizzes to The Flipside!!
    • Removed the guitar chords section entirely. I hadn't been keeping up with it, and I figure there are tons of other places on the Web to get chords.
    • Removed the Of-the-Weeks entirely as well. That's another one I was having trouble keeping up with.
    • Added my email address, so you can complain at me directly if you want.
    • Am in the process of adding a brand new section for my own animated graphics. Stay tuned for that one.
    I'm hoping to add and expand The Flipside!! as soon as possible. Eventually.

    Now I just want to say...I'm sorry I was away from the site for so long, BUT-- It's Good to Be Back!!

  • Important Note: I've been having some trouble getting the music and various sounds to work on the site. I removed the music from most of the pages because of this, but in some places (such as the guess-the-song game) it could not be helped. I'm currently in the process of trying to fix that. Just a heads-up there for you. Also, I haven't checked all of the links to make sure they work, but I'll be doing that shortly. If you think I missed anything, please email me.
