When is the last time you cooked a truly fresh chicken? Ever wonder how fresh those you bought in the store really were? Or what "fresh" on a label in the supermarket really means?
Not so long ago, we didn't have a good answer for those questions ourselves. So when we found the chance to raise our own poultry, we took it .
As it turned out, we found that even a very small operation could produce enough fresh birds for family and friends….and hopefully you!
Our primary focus is on top quality Cornish Rock broilers which produce wonderful eating in sizes ranging from the 1 -2 lb. Cornish hen to 8 lb. baking hens. Our birds are raised true free-range on quality feed with no crowding or unnecessary antibiotics. We've also dedicated space for a few holiday turkeys.
Are they better? The feedback we get says they are!
