212 th Military Police Company  Korea 1950 to 1953    
The 212th Military Police Company has a history that spans across the globe.The company has served in every major war since World II.

July 1950 the 212th M.P.Co.(Colored) arrives at Taegu.
The 212th suffered casualties in Aug.1950 and Dec.1950.Six wounded in action and two Killed in action.

Dec.1951 members of the 728th MP Bn. were integrated into the 212th MP Co.,and members of the 212th were sent to the 728th.We stayed overnight on Wolmido Island in Inchon Harbor.

The 212th was sent to 
Chang gam ni, North Korea,
about 12 miles above the 38th Parallel and a couple miles above Hwachon.We set up our Company Headquarters and built a POW Stockade.There was also a Platoon in Kumwha,near the DMZ.

Our duties were to assist in troop movements,Patrol the Main Supply Routes,Checkpoints,Security on Bridges,Transport and guard Prisoners of War at the
Stockade,Honor Guard Detail,and various assignments.We were attached to the IX Corp.

The 212th Military Police Company served in every major campaign and received the Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation as well as numerous campaign credits.
After the Korean Conflict,the Company was relocated to Japan where it was inactivated 24 June 1958.

On 10 January 1966,it activated in the Republic of Vietnam where it performed
K-9 support Operations.  Again,the 212th received numerous campaign credits and streamers.
