Hammers

There are 5 Hammers Mario can use.

Hammer:

This is Mario's first weapon. The description in the equip screen is ":Pounds enemies." The movement is that Mario just hits enemies on the head. If Mario gets a timed hit, he will hit the dude on the head another time. It has a attack rating of 10 and you get it in Mushroom Way, after you beat the crud out of the hammer bros.

Lucky hammer:

In the equip screen it is described as "A lucky hammer!". Just as the hammer Mario just hit enemy's on the head. Even though the Lucky Hammer has a attack rating of 0, when you hit enemys with is you get coins for hitting an enemy. If you do a timed hit, Mario will get a "lucky" and at the end of the fight you have the chance the play the egg game to double your experience points or coins that you one in battle. You can buy the Lucky Hammer at the Seaside Town Weapon and Armor Shop of a price of 123 Coins.

Super Hammer:

Described in the equip screen as "The standard of hammers!" Just like most hammers Mario just hits enemy's on the head, and if you get a timed hit he will swing once again. This is a very good hammer, but just not as good as the Masher. The Super Hammer has a attack rating of 40, and can be purchased at the Marry more Shop\Inn. Also can be bought at the Seaside Town Weapon and Armor Shop , the Sea Item Shop, and the Sunken Ship Salesman for a great price of 70 lousy coins!

Masher:

Described in the equip screen as "Makes monster mash!" Mario swings the hammer down on the enemy's head and if you convert on a timed hit he will just swing the hammer down another time. This is the strongest weapon to Mario until he reaches Nimbus Land. It packs a attack rating of 50. The masher can be found in Booster Tower.

Ultra Hammer:

Described in the equip screen as "The Ultimate hammer!". Just like all other hammers Mario will hit enemy's on the head, if he hits a timed hit he will hit again, BUT, now he will do a side swing!!!!! This is the stronges hammer Mario can get, but by the time you should get to this hammer you should all ready have a stronger weapon the lazy Shell. The Ultra Hammer Packs a attack rating og 70 and can be found in the factory on the way to smithy, one room past the second save point.

Shells

There are 3 shells Mario can use.

Nok Nok Shell:

Described in the equip screen as "Kick to attack." Mario will kick this green Koopa shell at an enemy and a bunch of small stars will come up and flash. If you score a timed hit, you will see a big flash before the little stars. This is a the first shell Mario can use. The Nok Nok Shell has an attack rating of 20 and is given to Mario after getting to the bottom of the Midas River. It can also be bought at the seaside town and armor shop for 20 coins.

Troopa Shell:

Described in the equip screen as "Kick with it!" Mario will kick this red Koopa shell at the enemy and there will be a bunch of small stars will come up where you hit the enemy. If you score a timed hit correctly, you will see a big star flash on the screen just before the little stars. This is Mario's second shell. It has = strength to the masher, but you have to pay for this. It has a attack rating of 50 and can be purchased at the seaside town weapon and armor shop for 90 coins.

Lazy Shell:

Described in the equip screen as "Toss a shell at an enemy!" Mario will kick a huge red Koopa shell at the enemy and there will be a mess of little stars that will flash on the screen when it hits the enemy. If you score a timed hit, you will see a big star flash on the screen before the little stars. With an attack rating of 90, this is the strongest shell, the strongest weapon the Mario can get. You can find the Lazy shell after climbing the vine crated the the Rose Town Gardener after you have geven him the Seed tha the Fertilizer.

Gloves

There are 2 Gloves Mario can use.

Punch Glove:

Described in the equip screen as "Knock out Power!" Mario will punch his enemy and if you hit a timed hit, Mario will do an uppercut after the first punch. The Punch Glove will make his punching alot stronger than in the start of the game. The punch glove has an attack rating of 30 and can be purchased at the Moleville Item Shop and the Seaside town weapon and armor shop for 36 coins.

Mega Glove:

Described in the equip screen as "Packs a mega wallop!" Mario will punch his enemy and if you do a timed hit, Mario will do an uppercut, and them another jab. This is Mario's strongest punch attack, and it has attack rating of 60. The Mega Glove can be bought at the Nimbus Land Item Shop for 102 coins.
