Welcome to a world of demons of the underworld, legends that thrive to kill them, mysteries and magic colide, this is Genma Onimusha.

Genma Onimusha is an action packed thriller filled with darkened lives upon a small village off the coast of Japan's western boarder. In this game, you must destroy all evil as the character of Samanosuke, a warrior who is very popular around these parts of Japan. The Gods have given Samanosuke great powers sealed into a Orge Gauntlet on his right hand. With the power of this gauntlet, he may seal the souls of the decieced into it, to collect strenghth, magic, and will power to procede on this tragic journey.

As Samanosuke procedes further and further on his journey, a story unfolds of a young acendant of a Japanese martial arts master, taking a long journey just as Samanosuke is. All the information is secretly hidden in pots, draws, or treasure chests. The Acendants name is Saimyou, the masters name never revealed, but although just mere words, they provide vital information throughout the game.

Samanosuke must travel through many difficult levels, collecting orbs, weapons, and items that will all help him in his tough journey to save Princes Yuki.

Hundreds of different demons must be killed, all with there different status, weapons, and attacks. This will be a most harsh journey to undertake with almost every room an easy room to become your tomb.
