| On Friday, June 15, 2001, there were 9 Descendants of General Joseph Martin met to share stories, pictures, documents, and do some internet research. This pre-reunion meeting will become an annual event on the day before the traditional reunion. We met at the Indianola Schools Administration Building and had a great time. |

| On Saturday, June 16, 2001, was the traditional reunion. Although the numbers were down from previous years, all had a great time of food, fellowship and fun. The highlight of the day was a PowerPoint program of 53 slides of the Martin Family History by Dr. Dariel Dee Martin of Orem, Utah. Copies of the program are available upon request.
