GOAL

GOAL is an optimization tool based on a genetic algorithm which can solve varied optimization problems. GOAL can handle problems with several real and binary variables, constraints, and complex objective functions written with Visual Basic. GOAL has an editor that allows formulating the optimization problem easily.

TransGA

TransGA is an application derived from GOAL. TransGA can identify the dynamics of Multiple Input - Single Output (MISO) systems, using transfer function models. In contrast to other identification algorithms, which requires an initial guess of the transfer function structure, the innovatory algorithm of TransGA allows it to identify the transfer function structure and parameters simultaneously
