| MY TAKE ON HONORABLE PLAYING First of all, I do not endorse any cheats, cheats are a desperate mans way to win a battle. Anyone who uses cheats doesn't deserve to ever win a battle. The Red Hex Cheat This cheat is really bad because you won't know if you opponent is using it. It displays a red hex around all of your units, this allows your opponent to see the displacement of your troops. Editing Saves Editing Saves is also a bad form of cheating. Anyone who would go that far to win a battle deserves to be court martialed and flogged. A person can go in and edit their unit health and numbers, making it impossible for the other player to win. Routed Units Thats simple, I don't hit a routed unit unless it is ABSOLUTLY necessary. So I would expect my opponent to do the same. There are some exceptions to this though, If you can capture a routed unit, then in my mind you should be able to hit it, BUT PLEASE NOTIFY YOUR OPPONENT BEFORE HITTING THE ROUTED UNIT. This also applies if you need to move a routed unit for strategic reasons. SCENARIOS I like a lot of the scenarios that sierra created, Antietam and Gettysburg are two great examples. The one thing that I don't like is all of the Victory Points, They force you to fight it out in specific areas. I am a big fan of the scenarios with no Victory Point locations. Antietam-dtg-2001 is very good scenario and I play it often, without the Victory Point locations, you can choose where you want to fight; it brings long term strategy into play and thats what I like. News From General Sigel I am currently working on my own version of Fort Donelson, KY. I have been working on this scenario for quite some time now, and I expect to have it completed in about 3 weeks.
