This page is dedicated to every unfortunate GE consumer suffering with their appliances.

My intent is to herald a fair warning to those considering the purchase of any GE products.

I will list both technical-engineering problems and issues with their customer care and service.

If you are wondering why I bothered to make this site, the best answer is my frustration with GE and the fact that I able to type most of it while I waited on hold with GE's disservice line.

GE Lemon II Staring
Ms Williams
The editor of this site is sorry
for the investors who may lose money investing in GE and for any role this site has had in the changing fortunes at GE.
Update Aug 15th 2003
Everyone was suposed to live happily ever after. GE replaced the oven controls and gave us a free (if $500 is free)  replacement for the Monogram refridgerator one year ago today, August 14th 2002.

But today, one year to the day later, we are on our 7th or 8th service call, including 3rd in the last 25 days. On this lemon to replace our lemon.

Todays GE Anti-hero is Ms Whitehurst at GE Service.

And I thought I would be able to retire this site and move on. Instead I will update it with the story of this new Fridge and register this site with all the major search engines.

Please Please Please  I can't recommend what appliances to buy but I can caution you to reconsider buying any GE appliance. They are very poorly engineered.
