She has had a very successful career as an actress in television and film and as a supermodel for Maybelline cosmetics, which she made into one of the best selling cosmetic products in the world by her Maybelline commercial debut in 2000. She has had a number of roles for television. Over 150 advertisements, and many television series, her most successful being Buffy the Vampire Slayer which she landed in 1996 and finished her 7th Season in 2003. Buffy the Vampire Slayer was voted the best TV show of all time by TV Guide.

She has also had a very unique film career, with films like 'Cruel Intentions', a dramatic film that was showered with awards and popularity. Other films include 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', also a very cleaverly created film that ranks in the Top 10 Teen-Horror films of all time. The film went to No.1 at the Box Office for 3 weeks in a row. 'Scooby-Doo' is one of her latest films. An adaptation of the classic cartoon series 'Scooby-Doo' that rose in the 1960s and has become unstoppable, the film made $56 million in its first 3 days of release and made a staggering $272 million worldwide. Her salary per film is at average $10 million. Sarah or SMG, as her loyal fans call her is a very versatile actress and her films show it.

Sarah has also been voted the Sexiest Woman in the world in 1999 and she is also in the Top 100 Greatest TV Actors of Our Time. She is also one of People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in The world and People's 25 Greatest Faces.
