This is the Pilkington's Home Page....well, one of numerous sites. It has been brought to my attention that one of the photographs contained herein is considered to be a bit controversial. Said photograph shows my husband, G, holding alcohol. Firstly, alcohol and its consumption is not illegal in any state. Secondly, their were no children present at this event. It was a going away party for a friend who joined the military. We are very proud of him and were honored to have shared in this event before his departure. This picture was taken before he left for boot camp well over a year ago. He will be deployed overseas very soon to fight for the freedom of all Americans, and one of those freedoms is to drink. Thirdly, and lastly.......just because my husband was holding a bottle of alcohol does not mean he consumed it. He was host of this farewell party, after all. G is currently taking medications for a condition called atrial fib, which does not allow him to consume much alcohol. He does drink on occasion. However, I feel a drink or two is within reason and nothing Consuming and alcoholic beverage does not compare with say, the use of crystal methampetamines.....but I will refrain from finger pointing. Thanks for your time. I've got rights just like you. Step on my toes and I tend to stomp back. ~A
