The Crash takes months of preparation and is a collaborative effort between NFA staff and students,
the PIUS XII Gateway Center,
and numerous agencies and businesses
from the Greater Newburgh area.

The Crash was presented as a Junior class assembly.
Our hope is to drive home the message
that drinking and driving don't mix.

This year's scenario featured an SUV full of teens who had been drinking, a motorcyclist, and a pedestrian with a baby.

Acting students from the Aarts Academy were joined by Coach Charles Chatham, who provided narration.
The presentation is unscripted.

Emergency responders provide as much realism as possible by using the event as a training session.
