The GWABC was formed in June 1997 by a handful of Dedicated American
Bulldog Breeders from South Central Illinois, and the St.Louis Missouri Area.
We are now over 30 members strong, and have Members representing the entire State of
Illinois, and as far West as Kansas City Missouri.
We continue to grow, and with this growth we are better able to Promote the greatest breed
on the planet! THE AMERICAN BULLDOG!!!

OBJECTIVES AND PURPOSES:
a. To encourage and promote the breeding of a better American Bulldog, by preserving
"ALL" of the American Bulldogs Working Abilities as our First Priority.
b. To promote Responsible Ownership!
c. To "EDUCATE", and make known to the public the High Standard of Excellence of
the Working American Bulldog.
d. To continually improve the quality of the American Bulldog, through the Sponsorship,
Promotion, and Participation in Registry Sanctioned, and Non Sanctioned Club Sponsored
Events.
e. To develop an Adoption/Rescue Program in our area for American Bulldogs.
f. To work against Breed Specific Legislation.
