Volunteer Note

We are looking into many different fundraising ideas. We are looking into many new opportunities this year and we need to have the financial ability to do them. If anyone has any fundraising ideas they would like to offer it would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to contact Miss Beth.

October 26, 2007 - hayride A great time was had by all as we sang Girl Scout Songs and got to pick a pumpkin at Walnut Drive Gardens. Even though it was raining, we had smiles on our faces!!

December 15, 2007 - Caroling at Maison Aine. The girls sang Christmas songs to the delight of the residents, and learned compassion at the same time.

December 19, 2007 - Troop 911 Christmas Investiture Dinner party. Our first Family event was a fun evening. The girls became officially "invested" in our troop in a special, unique ceremony that ended with the girls making a Poinsettia wreath to donate to Maison Aine. Let's do it again next year!

April 18, 2008 - "Our very first campout was a smashing success. The girls all worked together as Bluejays, Robins, Sparrows, Finches or Cardinals to complete all necessary work. We hiked, we sang, we toasted marshmallows, we cooked, we cleaned, we played, we learned about plants and first aid. The girls all learned about responsibility, teamwork, leadership, independence, empathy, and problem solving. We can't wait to go camping again!"
