Tiny Footprints

Tiny feet go pitter patter across the floors of Heaven. They never made it to the earth, their life was never given. They had no choice, they had no say They never had the chance to play.  Their mothers were troubled, afraid and confused People told them it was OK to do. They said that it wasn’t really a life They said there was no need to go through this strife.  They told them this tiny baby inside Had little worth and it was OK if it died. They took these lives into their own hands They’re accountable to God for taking this stand.  And the numbers of footprints keep growing each day; Pitter patter across heaven, is now where they play. How many more unborn will it take For people to realize, "It’s not their choice to make"? Olivia M. Jeffries  Hawthorne , FL  USA
