Does Gamma Sigma Sigma offer social activities?
Yes. In conjunction with its service emphasis, the sorority encourages social activities which can foster friendship. Members can take part in monthly socials, an annual formal, intramural sports, Family Day, retreats, among many other activities. These special events strengthen the bonds of sister/brotherhood.
What about the cost?
These figures reflect fees for the 2001-2002 school year. Fall Semester: $40 National, $30 Local, and $10 travel pool. Spring Semester: $30 Local. New Pledges pay a one time additional fee of $20. This supplies the pledges with their pledge book, pledge pin, and membership pin.
How do I join?
Any student who wishes to serve others and is in good standing with the university is eligible to become a member regardless of race,sex, or creed. Everyone interested in joining is encouraged to attend meetings held during RUSH to learn more about the sorority and its members.
