AWAKENING THOSE BLESSÉD HOMOSEXUALS

As someone who has gone through a lot of being sexually victimized, I put up considerable resistance to the idea that there was nothing fundamentally wrong with homosexuality.  I dared God to show me that homosexuality could be all right, and for many years nothing changed my mind.  That is, until I was elected by YaHooWeH.  Then I began realizing that there might be one or more homosexuals who were similarly chosen, but I didn’t actually know of any.  Soon afterward, I arrived at Gnosis – knowing that I really was one with the cosmos, and all the good and bad in it – always had been, always would be, totally into the foreseeable future.  This certainly seemed to be a gift from YaHooWeH, but now I acknowledge that it was the collective, co-operative, and perfectly complementing will of multiple sovereign deities.  As I picked up on things I had always known, such as that (in the highest sense, there are no numbers), I remembered times when I had wanted to feel at one with the All, but before I had only accepted the things that I liked and even tried to psychically destroy the things I didn’t like.  Anyway, as part of my new walk with YaHooWeH as Lord, I started opening my Bible to whatever passages sovereignty let be.

A few days after I started random Scripture readings, the Supreme Be-ing guided me to Isaiah chapter 56.  Now I will share my research.  Isaiah is by far the longest of the books of the prophets in the Bible.  Isaiah seems to have been written over a span of several centuries.  Isaiah was completed by at least 200 BC, as evidenced by a copy of the whole book having been found among the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the Septuagint’s Greek translation of Hebrew Scriptures from around then.  Chapter 56 seems to have been written after 600 B.C. and it is right at the beginning of the section called “Third Isaiah”.  Surely, the writer of this section was aware that it was part 3 of the prophecies, but with the strong Judeo-Christian bias against homosexuality, I sincerely doubt that the weight of 1970’s cultural guidance could have picked the triangle based on the Bible.

Roman numerals started to be used around 500 B.C. (around when Third Isaiah was written.)  By the time Revelation was written (within the Roman Empire), it was widely accepted that this date was “D” years before the birth of Christ.  In Latin, “Christ” is “Christus” and starts with “C”.  Revelation was written around 100 A.D.  – in Roman numerals, the year “C”.  Adding “C” and “D” gives “DC” – 600 years before Revelation.  In descending order, the lesser Roman numerals are “LXVI” – 66.  “DCLXVI” equals 666, which shows a strange symmetry in binary (never used until recently, except perhaps by Taoists); among at least the first 9 multiples of 111, 666 is the only one that can be broken into essentially symmetrical units – 101-00-11-010, like mirrors.

While the number “DCLXVI” in the New Testament clearly corresponds to an end-times prophecy, it may not be so clearly seen that “LVI” would be similar, because the X is missing.  However, the Greek word for Christ is “Χριςτός” (chi-rho-iota-sigma-tau-omicron-sigma), which is pronounced “Christos”.  Also, Christ is symbolized by the letters XP (chi-rho), which is also linked to the ancient Egyptian magickal “eye of horus”, which looks like an ], designed to represent face-paint.  Of course, the capitol of Egypt was and is Cairo.  So, where is the X in Isaiah chapter 56?   Soon, I hope to reveal this.

Isaiah 56 begins [NRSV], “Thus says the LORD:  Maintain justice, and do what is right, for soon my salvation will come, and my deliverance is revealed.”  The first two phrases are obviously valid.  The second two phrases refer to that which is hoped for, and that which is not yet seen, respectively.  “Revealed”, it seems to me, indicates clearly the chapter is emphatically prophetic.  What a start for the writing of Third Isaiah.

Verse 2 gives some practical advice:  “Happy is the mortal who does this, the one who holds it fast, who keeps the sabbath, not profaning it, and refrains from doing any evil.”  And yet, this is tricky, because we are immortal as mentioned in Ecclesiastes 3 (the turning seasons of our lives) and Psalms 82.6 (we are gods, albeit very, very sleepy).  I interpret Isaiah 56:2 to be spiritual “milk”, especially helpful for those who would puke on spiritual “solid food”.  Clearly, to be more godly involves recognition of our somewhat evil nature, even as YaHooWeH killed every first born thing in the civilization of Egypt to liberate the Israelites.  Yet we must be fully able to refrain of evil.  Also, I believe verse 2 sets up those who are spiritually immature and may be reading to miss the double-entendre that Third Isaiah makes next.

3 in Roman numerals is “III”, and the most repetitions of a Roman numeral in a row (commonly) is 3.  I hold that in verse “III” is the “X” not found in the chapter number (“LVI”).  Reading on, I believe the discerning student will find a blatant innuendo, disguised to escape the scrutiny of the Hebrew Scribes and Pharisees.  You see, verse 3 joins two images that are almost completely different:  “Do not let the foreigner joined to the LORD say, "The Lord will surely separate me from his people"; and do not let the eunuch say, ‘I am just a dry tree’.”  How can it be that the writer of Third Isaiah would combine the image of someone who is a servant to those at the organizational heart of Israel (eunuchs) with the image of someone who is not even of the same kingdom (foreigners)?  There must be a connection visible through triangulation.  FOREIGNERS X EUNUCHS = Δ….?  At what trivium does one path cross another?  Intuitively, it was not long from the time I first studied this passage till I made the connection:  homosexuality.  Now I will examine how the eunuch is a metaphor for the lesbian and the foreigner is a metaphor for the gay.

Oddly, the triangle was not used as a symbol for homosexuals until the 1930s when the Nazis started using triangles to designate social outcasts, especially in their concentration camps:  green triangles for criminals, red ones for political prisoners, blue for immigrants, black for sociopaths, purple for Jehovah’s Witnesses, brown for Gypsies, pink for homosexuals, and two yellow overlapping triangles for Jews.  In the 1970s, homosexual liberators in America designated the rainbow and pink triangle as symbols for their movement.  Maybe not, but it seems unthinkable to me that they were devoted to Isaiah 56:3.  Yet, in the verses that follow, I believe it should become clear to many that whoever wrote Third Isaiah supported (at least) some homosexuals, and indicated that these could be in covenant with YaHooWeH.  Moreover, I hold that the writer believed homosexuals could be among YaHooWeH’s elect, residents of “Thy kingdom come”.

Verses 4 and 5 read “(4) For thus says the LORD:  To the eunuchs who keep my sabbaths, who choose the things that please me and hold fast my covenant, (5) I will give, in my house and within my walls, a monument and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.”  Technically, eunuchs (like lesbians) were without male genitalia.  The phrase “better than sons and daughters” makes sense especially if it refers to lesbians who won’t be bearing any children.  Often I have heard a lesbian referred to as a “dry tree”.  The first occurrence of the word “everlasting” in my Bible is right after the flood of Noah, in Genesis 9:16 (chapter [3-squared] : verse [4-squared]) –  “When the [rain]bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the EVERLASTING covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”  Genesis 9:16 also uses the word “covenant”.  The words “house” (structured plan for life?) “walls” (protection by YaHooWeH’s sovereignty?) and “monument” (glorification?) in this light bear heretical connotations.  Also, lesbians typically may “hold fast”, which is next contrasted with gay sex.

Verses 6 and 7 read “(6) And the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD, to minister to him, to love the name of the LORD [YaHooWeH] , and to be his servants, all who keep the sabbath, and not profane it, and hold fast my covenant – 7) these will I bring to my holy mountain [Zion], and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offering and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.  Gays typically “join themselves” when they are having sex, and this image restates verse 3’s “joined to”.  Apparently, the people of Isaiah’s day found lesbians more acceptable than gays, similar to many average attitudes of our days.  Yet Third Isaiah (intentionally or not) reflects the phrase “every living creature” of Genesis 9:16 in “for all people”.  Thus, Third Isaiah tells us that as YaHooWeH worshippers, we should accept both lesbians and gays.  Gays who remain true to their native gender orientation, now as then, but especially then, must make the “offering” and “sacrifice” of not multiplying their seed (figuratively).

Isaiah 28:15-17 (in “First Isaiah”) exalts the promise of YaHooWeH in Zion, contrasted to worldly wisdom, “Because you [scoffers of the word of YaHooWeH, who rule in Jerusalem] have said, ‘We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we have an agreement; when the overwhelming scourge passes through [like Passover] it will not come to us; for we have made lies our refuge, and in falsehood we have taken shelter’; therefore thus says the Lord GOD [YaHooWeH], See I am laying in Zion a foundation stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation:  ‘One who trusts will not panic.’  And I will make justice the line, and righteousness the plummet; hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and waters will overwhelm the shelter.  Then your covenant with death will be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol will not stand; when the overwhelming scourge passes through you will be beaten down by it.”  Perhaps this foreshadows something about the salvation and deliverance in Isaiah 56:1, because 28 is one-half of 56, and the end of Isaiah 56 speaks precisely about worldliness.

Verse 8 of Isaiah 56 continues with the future tense, “Thus says the Lord GOD, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, I will gather others to them besides those already gathered.”  Even today, the “foreigners” and the “eunuchs” (gays and lesbians) are mostly outcasts.  Strangely helpful to correct interpretation is the remembrance that eunuchs were actually not outcasts back then, but rather chosen for important specialized roles.  56 is 8 times “the perfect number” – 7.  Interesting I find it that the first 8 verses form a well-delineated group.

In verse 9, there is a threatening (figurative) command, given to the dangerous lower creatures:  “All you wild animals, all you wild animals in the forest, come to devour!”  What YaHooWeH is bidding that they come devour is revealed in the last 3 (BLISTERING) verses of the chapter:  “(10) Israel's sentinels are blind, they are without knowledge; they are all silent dogs that cannot bark; dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.  (11) The dogs have a mighty appetite; they never have enough.  The shepherds also have no understanding; they have all turned to their own way, to their own gain, one and all.  (12) ‘Come,’ they say, ‘let us get wine; let us fill ourselves with strong drink.  And tomorrow will be like today, great beyond measure’.”  As was the case then, those who are assigned with guarding God’s people are blind and ignorant; ironically, there seems to me a double-meaning because the Scribes and Pharisees did not catch on that Third Isaiah was supporting godly homosexuality.  These sentinels speak not the Word, they get lost in their dreams, and they are lazy.  Selfish lust for material gain has very much corrupted our civil rights activists and our religious leaders.  They enjoy the worldly culture of alcohol-consumption, assuming their success will last.  But it will not.  Were that the mountain lion could restore natural harmony!

The time has come to remember the sovereign and utterly divine plurality of Genesis 1:26, the good plants of Genesis 1:29, and the repeated warnings against drinking scattered throughout the Bible.  In fact, the typical Christian these days pronounces selected plants as evil and drinking as good.  Isaiah chapter 7 [“the perfect number”] speaks of Immanuel (“God is with us”).  Nature is buckling under, and as humans multiply without end (or simulate the act as their highest fun, while denouncing homosexuality) our planet is dying.  Must we push the button of aggression to the point of no return?  I suspect our structures of belief are out to betray us.  God is not our teddy bear, not our wishing well, and not our “holier-than-thou” truncheon.  Our Supreme Be-ing is speaking, unfolding our covenantal orders; we hear the Elohim in our consciences, our guiding forces of intuition and emotion.  How can we argue our points with sovereign Be-ing, figure that Be-ing out, or dictate “Thy will be done”?  Let us rise and fulfill the vision of Third Isaiah!  Still, I wonder: is it something like Stockholm syndrome in which we make believe we deserve to be oppressed?  Are we like the Israelites who escaped famine and became enslaved to Egypt?  The world tells us to fear; we will surely be outnumbered, but YaHooWeH says, “I will gather [to the outcasts] others… besides those already gathered.”  What truth there is in these crude words, may it be yours to discern.  Meanwhile, I will continue praising YaHooWeH – a brave name, I say! – and praising that sovereign God for Third Isaiah’s ability to escape detection by the Israeli sentinels, dogs, and shepherds.

That these are the end times, here at the beginning of the millenium, should be obvious by anyone doing a simple guestimation of available resources versus how fast they are being consumed.  This rate is not slowing down.  To flesh out the picture, one may consider the geometrical rate of population explosion.  Our planet is terminally ill, and like the good Dr. K., I want to help as many people as possible die with peace and dignity.  This calling is righteous for 21st Century Christians whom God has told the truth – we have less than decades left.  Shortages make way for war, calling our soldiers and terrorists to infinite aggression.  Feel me go headlong to ground zero?  I’m waiting for the bomb to fall as our modern Rome burns to a nuclear solution.  Gods bless you all!
