Nothing

Lost and lonely, wandering through the darkness
Forever blinded by the light I lost
I cannot see, nor can I hear to find my way
Terror seeps deep within my heart, and I know
I am terribly alone

Here I am now, standing at the edge of nothing
I look in, and my demons stare back
I have nowhere else, no one else to turn to
The fear has taken control of my heart
And this is my destiny

I fall into the black abyss expecting no more pain
Only to find that I was horribly wrong
The things I could not face before confront me now
But I can't stand up to them, to the truth
That the nothingness is me
