   I am 23 years old and am attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, IL studying food science and human nutriton with the hospitality management option, with a minor in Business. I want to do something with event planning post-graduation. I live off campus and love it! I also have a kitty, named Jeter, that my husband gave me when we'd be together for six months. Jeter was six months old then too - how cute?!?! I have a condition called Fibromyalgia (FMS) that I will most likely have for life. (There is lots about it on-line if you want to know what it is)
    Personality-wise I am fairly outgoing and love to laugh and smile. I'd like to think that I do everything in life with passion - to me it's not worth doing it if you can't believe in/against it!   I am honest and trustworthy and one of my biggest pet peeves is a liar. I have a wonderful husband named Jay who has a VERY fast camaro Z28 - let me know if you wanna race him   ;-).
    I am also a certified food safety and sanitation handler and a certified TIPS trained server.
    I am totally FOR the chief @ our school...it's all about the pride!!

Well, I like to rollerblade, go on walks, shop, watch movies/DVDs, sing, and just hang out with my friends/boyfriend. My favorite color is purple, and I like almost everything that is that color. I also love pretty much all kinds of music...country is my least favorite though.

I am an only child...but people have always told me that i do not act like one. (They say this is a good thing) I have a dog named Oscar who is very protective of me--watch out, he bites! As far as my extended family goes, there are a lot of them and they're spread out all throughout the United States. So, visiting relatives often becomes a fun trip to a different state!

Work:

I am currently working at Fairfield Inn (a Marriott property) as a front desk clerk. Since I have been 16 years old, I have been the site manager of a free food service program, a paperwork manager for a logistics company, and worked as a front desk clerk at two different Baymont Inns and Suites locations. Last summer I worked for the Urbana Business Association, as their Sweetcorn Festival Coordinator. (28th Annual Sweet Corn Festival-Urbana, IL)
I wrote and received a state funded grant for ~$7,500 too - everyone seems to think that's a wonderful experience for me to have. I think it was really repetitious!
