GAIS
- is for those who love life and art.
Its objects cannot be defined merely in words or music or in the things we see, touch and smell.
The following poem may help the unitiatated:
On Summer's hill on Summer's eve
Within the golden wood they came
To learn with awe and reverence
And not for glory nor for fame.
They came to be at one with self,
At one with life - that precious gift -
They came together to call themselves
The Kindred of the Kibbo Kift.

Into the secret copse they came
To stand in a cool and ancient clearing
To make a vow forevermore
Within each other's and Gaia's hearing -
To pledge their bodies and minds and spirits
To all of life whether strong and swift
Or weak and slow, to always be
The Kindred of the Kibbo Kift.

Naked they stood before the world
Yet the contours of their minds were set
Like the roots of trees within the ground
Beneath the hill.  Yes, there they met,
In meditation, with past souls
And future beings set adrift
Upon the sea of time and space,
The Kindred of the Kibbo Kift.

As men and women they joined hands
In symbol of the sun and moon,
Their children would like stars become,
Kept safe as if in earth's cocoon.
Other men spill blood in war,
Between compassion there is a rift,
But no-one destoys the spirit among
The Kindred of the Kibbo Kift.

On Summer's hill on Summer's eve
They left the golden wood behind
And, after bathing in a stream,
Homeward walked, within each mind
A purpose and a growing love
For all who would embrace the gift,
The sight, the sound, the smell, the touch
Of the Kindred of the Kibbo Kift.

The Earth is more than the sum of its parts.  See the Gaia Hypothesis.
"The Earth (Gaia) has special parts and feedback loops that keep it in a state that is "comfortable" for life.  All life and other processes at work in the Earth serve to enable life to continue."
The only danger is Humankind.
