The self-portrait above originally appeared in Volume IV, Number 1 of The Newaeon Newsletter, published on the Vernal Equinox of 1985 E.V. The one below appeared in Number 2, issued in May of that same year.
As you can see by comparing the above self-portraits with the more current photograph below, time has ... alas ... taken it's toll upon me.
This digital photograph along with the even more dramatic ones taken around the same time in which I appear to be vanishing have not yet been adequately explained. Double exposures are impossible with the HP PhotoSmart and no attempt during the process of taking the photograph or after uploading it to the computer was made to fake this very unusual effect. The camera's apparent ability to see through my body is a mystery yet to be solved. Interestingly, no other subject photographed with this camera, animate or inanimate, has been photographed through, and so far this has only occurred when photographing myself on two different occasions. Any ideas? Perhaps this is photographic proof of my claim to have annihilated the ego in Crossing the Abyss! If, on the other hand, it turns out that I have a magical camera that can see through things, you may find me lurking about outside of ladies' locker rooms, taking photographs of the exterior walls!
