Richard Chandler to Samuel Sewell - Deed
Georgia, Franklin County - This Indenture made and entered into the Twenty fourth day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Seventeen between Richard Chandler of the County and aforesaid of the one part and Samuel Sewell of the same place of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Richard Chandler for and in consideration of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Samuel Sewell the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and delivered to the said Sewell his heirs......all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County and State aforesaid on the Waters of Bear Creek and bounded as followeth Beginning on a chessnut corner running S 30 E 19.29 to a post oak corner, thence N 33 E 9.33 to a stake corner then N 40 E to Childs Corner on said line.  Thence on Childs line to Childs post oak corner, thence S. 30 W to a maple corner on a branch, Thence down said branch to the fork thereof thence as the North fork of said branch to a white oak corner.  Thence a straight line to the beginning corner containing one hundred and twenty acres to the same more or less to the proper use of said Sewell his heirs.....and the said Richard Chandler doth warrant and forever defend the said tract or parcel of land to said Samuel Sewell his heirs.....forever against the claims challenges claim or demand of him the said Richard Chandler his heirs and assigns forever and against the lawful claims as demand of all and every other person or persons when sower?, as witness of which the said Richard Chandler hath hereunto set his hand and seal this day and date above written
